Project #3 Narrative

PROJECT BRIEF:

Project Description: Illustrate a narrative about the process of making yarn. The story will be based around a elderly woman knitting sweaters for her grandchildren.

Sender:

Message: Informative, creative and old fashioned theme book to teach about an old process in a fun, lighthearted manner.

Audience: Crafty, young adult females and children

Purpose: To inform and educate the reader on a old fashion subject so that they might gain interest and appreciation for it.

Specifications: Accordion fold book. Hand crafted drawing style. Give the appearance of homemade while still being bright and modern enough to keep the attention of a young modern audience. The four seasons of the year are very key to the story and corresponding color scheme for each season to express them. Use Line drawing style with lines that specifically resemble needlework. Keep detail minimal and the composition should flow throughout when the book is completely laid out.
